Using the Redeem app for non-integrated gift card redemptions.

If you want to redeem gift cards outside of POS, eCommerce and mobile ordering, you can use our redeem app to deduct funds from gift cards.

The redemption app allows you to look up a gift card to find out its current available balance and then deduct funds as a way to redeem the gift card. This could be used during events, bookings or if you run an operation outside of our POS integrations.

Setting up locations in the Redeem app

  1. To create a location for tracking and reporting, navigate to settings > redeem app.

  2. Select "add location".

Note: Add a new location for each venue using the redemption app to deduct voucher credit. Wrapped will automatically pull the location details into our adjustment reporting.

The Wrapped Redeem app can be accessed in two ways:

Using the Redeem app in-store

  1. You can access the redemption app from settings>redeem-app on all Wrapped accounts.

  2. Open the app or visit https://redeem.wrappedgiftcards.com on the device you’ll use to process redemptions.

  3. Then scan the QR code or enter the unique account code on the redemption app settings page to login.

  4. Once directed to the redeem-app home screen, select your location from the drop down menu in the top right hand corner.

  5. To look up a gift card click Enter code or email or Scan gift card to use a scanner connected to the device.

  6. Entering or scanning in the gift card code will display the gift card balance. You will have the option to Redeem in full or Partially redeem.

  7. If you choose to search by the customer email address, it will display a list of all active gift cards tied to that email, with available balances, as shown below. You will be able to select a gift card for redemption and then process a full or partial redemption, as above.

  8. Once redeemed you will get confirmation of the funds being deducted. The timeline below the gift card details will show an updated balance, synced across to all your other connected sales channels.

You can then process the order manually by adding a discount for the gift card funds in whatever system you use to take payment.
