If you wish to give customers the option to purchase a physical gift card online you can create a physical gift card product as a separate option on your online storefront.

Note: You will be responsible for fulfilling and posting these gift cards. Wrapped does not provide a physical gift card distribution service.

If you need to get physical gift cards printed, here's what you need to know to generate gift card codes for printing.

Setting up the physical gift card option on your online storefront

  1. In Wrapped go to online store > settings

  2. Scroll down to allow physical shipping and check the box. Enter the custom shipping amounts you will offer for customers who want a physical card posted.

Note: Shipping options and fees which will be displayed during the checkout process if the customer selects a physical gift card product, as shown below.

3. Navigate to online store > products and select create product. Select gift card.

4. Ensure the product title specifies this is a physical gift card, and check the allow physical shipping box under Restrictions and Shipping.

Fulfilment of physical gift card orders

If a gift card buyer chooses the post option when purchasing a gift card on your online storefront, you will receive an email notification to your contact email specified under your general settings.

  1. You will need to login to Wrapped > Gift cards

  2. You'll find an alert with the physical gift cards you need to fulfil

  3. Click on the gift card to find the recipient's postal address and gift card details

  4. The code given at the bottom of the blue box can be written onto a gift card or replaced with a code that is pre-printed onto your physical gift cards. Confirm the code matches the physical gift card.

  5. Once you have packaged and posted the gift card, Mark as shipped to complete.
