If you do not have physical gift cards for purchase in-store or you would like to send an e-gift card to a customer, you can generate a digital code to send directly to their email address.
In Lightspeed POS, begin by adding a customer to the sale.
Note: Ensure there is an email address attached to the customer account so they receive the e-gift card.
2. Once the customer has been added to the sale, tap the blue Gift Card button and then select Gift card from the menu.
3. Select generate digital gift card - this will create a random code that meets the requirements set out in your gift card settings.
4. Enter the amount the customer would like to add to the gift card and then click add to sale.
5. The gift card will be added to the sale ready for payment to be processed as normal. Once the payment is finalized, the customer will receive the digital gift card directly to their email address and the code and balance will be synced into Wrapped and updated across your connected sales channels.
