If a customer tries to redeem a Shopify gift card that was created before Wrapped was connected, you'll need to import the gift card into Wrapped before it can be used as payment at the POS.
You can recognize an existing Shopify gift card by the email - as shown below.
The method described below will only work if you have set up an import Shopify gift card payment method in Lightspeed Retail POS.
1) Add the items for purchase to the sale as normal.
2) Select Pay to be taken to the payment options.
3) Select import gift card and you will be taken to the Wrapped balance checker.
4) Scan or manually enter the gift card code into the balance checker and then click see your gift card credit.
5) Once the balance loads, click ESC to return to the payment options.
6) Select Gift Card and enter in the gift card code, then select Find Gift Card.
7) The gift card balance will load and you will be able to select pay with gift card to complete the sale.
