If a customer wishes to pay for only part of the bill using their gift card - for example, covering just their own meal when dining with friends - you can split the payment between a Wrapped gift card and another payment method in Lightspeed O-Series.
Follow the steps below to process a split payment.
Add all items to the order and proceed to checkout.
Select Spilt Payment.
Staff can choose to split by Price or Product, as shown below.
After creating the split, proceed to Checkout and select Wrapped Gift Cards.
Scan or enter the gift card number and click confirm.
Once the gift card payment is processed, staff will be returned to complete the remaining split payments using alternative payment methods.
