Selling physical gift cards in your POS is easy and mirrors the usual Lightspeed gift card purchase process.
In your Lightspeed POS > Sell screen, click the menu icon > Add-ons > Gift Cards > Wrapped Gift Cards
2. Scan or enter in the new gift card code and click Confirm
Note: If you'd like to sell a digital gift card, type "new"
3. Select Add funds and enter the value of the gift card being activated
4. The value will be added to the sale, ready to complete payment.
If you add a customer with an email address to the order before activating or topping up a card, they will receive an email with a digital version of the gift card.
Adding a customer email to the sale will email the gift card straight away, so should be made clear to the customer if it is a gift, they should add their own email (not the recipient) and they can then follow the prompts on the email to send it to a friend with a message.
