Adding Ecwid to an existing Wrapped account
To connect Ecwid to Wrapped, go to Settings > Sales channels and click Add more sales channels button. Then click Connect on Lightspeed eCommerce (Ecwid) option:
Note: Wrapped gift cards will be synced to Ecwid as fixed price, one-time use discount coupons. When a Wrapped gift card balance is updated, the Ecwid discount coupon will be deleted and recreated with the new discount amount.
Any voided Wrapped gift card will also delete the associated Ecwid discount coupon
Creating a gift card product
If you'd like gift cards to be purchased online via Ecwid, create a product.
In the General tab, set the SKU = wrapped_giftcard
In the Options tab, define your product options as a drop down list with your denominations:
Under Taxes tab, set to Zero rate: 0%
Complete other product details (like imagery) and publish to your storefront.
Once published, it should look similar to this:
Testing the Wrapped - Ecwid integration
To quickly check your Wrapped - Ecwid connection, you can:
Create a test gift card in Wrapped under Gift cards > Issue gift card
2. Click Issue and activate. Navigate to your gift card and copy the code
3. In Ecwid admin, navigate to Marketing > Discount Coupons and search for gift card using the copied code
You should see the gift card has been created and synced to Ecwid successfully.
4. Remember to Void the test gift card in Wrapped after testing
