When a gift card holder wants to use it to make a purchase in-store they may present either:
a. Their physical gift card (purchased in-store)
b. A digital gift card in an email (or printed version)
c. A digital gift card in Apple or Google Wallet
Process the sale as normal, and click Payment
Select Gift Card
Enter or scan the gift card code into the Scan Gift Card Code input, and click Go
The gift card balance will be displayed and you can edit the amount the customer would like to charge here. Click Charge
If the customer needs to use another payment method to make up the difference, you can do this as normal. Then Finish Sale
The gift card balance will then update in Wrapped and all connected sales channels.If they have an email address connected to the gift card, they will receive their updated gift card balance.
If they have the gift card stored on Apple or Google Wallet, this balance will update too.
