Selling physical gift cards in your POS is easy and mirrors the usual Lightspeed gift card purchase process.

  1. In your sell screen, choose the Gift Card button

  2. Select the Amount the customer wants to load onto the gift card

  3. Click into Gift card code to scan in or enter the gift card number on your physical gift cards.

    Note: If you don't have pre-printed codes, you can click Generate a new gift card code.

  4. Click Add to sale

    Continue with the sale. You'll notice that the gift card has been added to the order.

  5. Optional step: If you want to email the customer a digital copy of their gift card as well, you can add them to the sale with a valid email address. From this email they can send it to a friend if they wish.

  6. Complete the sale as normal and take payment, click Payment then Finish Sale

    The gift card will automatically sync into Wrapped and your connected sales channels. If you've added a customer email address to the sale, they will receive the gift card via email.


    Note: it may take a few minutes for the order to be processed.
