With Wrapped's Marketing Automations, you can automatically issue promotional gift cards or bonus credit when customers complete qualifying purchases.
Once configured, automations run in the background, making it easy to reward customers during seasonal promotions, tournaments, membership drives or quieter trading periods.
Marketing Automations are available on Wrapped's Pro, Plus and Enterprise plans.
Why use Marketing Automations?
For golf clubs, marketing automations can help you:
Increase average transaction value in the Pro Shop.
Encourage larger gift card purchases during holidays and Father's Day.
Reward customers who spend over a certain amount.
Drive repeat visits to the clubhouse, restaurant or driving range.
Promote selected products or services without discounting your entire store.
Run promotions automatically across your connected sales channels.
Promotion types
Buy a Gift Card, Get a Gift Card
Reward customers with an additional promotional gift card when they purchase a qualifying gift card.
Example: Buy a $200 gift card and receive a complimentary $25 gift card for your next round.
Buy a Gift Card, Get Bonus Credit
Instead of issuing a second gift card, automatically load extra value onto the purchased gift card.
Example: Purchase a $100 gift card and receive $120 in value.
This is ideal for holiday promotions where customers only need to manage a single gift card.
Spend and Receive a Promotional Gift Card
Automatically reward customers after they spend over a specified amount.
Common golf club examples include:
Spend over $150 in the Pro Shop and receive a $20 gift card.
Spend $250 on golf apparel and receive a complimentary lesson voucher.
Spend $80 in the clubhouse restaurant and receive a gift card for your next visit.
Buy Selected Products, Get a Gift Card
Reward customers when they purchase specific products. Examples include:
New golf clubs
Annual memberships
Lesson packages
Range ball packages
Tournament registrations
Selected apparel brands

Designing Your Bonus Voucher Email
Once a Marketing Automation is triggered, Wrapped can automatically email the promotional gift card or bonus voucher to the customer. A clear, well-designed email helps reinforce your brand and encourages customers to return to your venue.
Include the following information in your email template:
A clear headline, such as "A Bonus Gift Just for You"
The bonus voucher value
The voucher code or QR code
Where the voucher can be redeemed
The expiry date
Any important terms and conditions
Your club branding and contact details
Below is an example of a bonus voucher email for a golf club.
Important for Lightspeed Golf
When a promotion is triggered from a Lightspeed Golf POS sale, the customer must be attached to the transaction with a valid email address. This allows Wrapped to automatically deliver the promotional gift card by email.
