Setting up 'Refund to gift card' in Lightspeed Retail POS to manage returns

If you want to use gift cards to manage store credit for returns, you'll need to set up Refund to gift card as a payment type.

1. From the Wrapped dashboard, navigate to Settings > Sales channels and copy the ID of your connected X-Series sales channel

2. In Lightspeed Retail, go to Payment types

3. Click Add payment type

4. Choose Other payment method and click Begin setup

5. Give your new payment type a clear name like Refund to gift card

6. Enter into the Gateway field:

https://manage.wrappedgiftcards.com/vend/refund/{copied_sales_channel_id}


Note, the {copied_sales_channel_id} is the ID copied in step 1 above.

6. Click Save payment type and it will appear in the payment types list
