Ensure your gift card code format is compatible with your sales channels. You can check/edit your gift card format under Gift card settings > Gift card code formatting

Gift card requirements as per integration:

  • Shopify: minimum of 8 digits, maximum of 20 digits.

  • BigCommerce: minimum of 8 digits and maximum of 20 digits

  • WooCommerce Woo Gift Card Plugin: 16 digits with a dash every 4 characters

  • Lightspeed X-Series: 8+ digits recommended

  • Lightspeed R-Series: 8+ digits recommended

  • Lightspeed O-Series: 8+ digits recommended

  • Lightspeed K-Series: 8+ digits recommended

  • Lightspeed C-Series: 8+ digits recommended

  • Ecwid: 8+ digits recommended

  • WooCommerce Smart Coupons Plugin: 8+ digits recommended

  • Heartland: 8+ digits recommended

  • Bopple: 8+ digits recommended

By default, we will auto-generate 16-digit random alphanumeric codes with the following format: XXXX-XXXX-XXXX-XXXX

Note: When importing/adding gift card codes into Wrapped, if a code does not meet the requirements of your connected sales channel, it will fail to sync.

For security reasons, ensure any imported/added gift codes have been randomly generated and not sequential (e.g. AB000001, AB000002). Sequential codes are easy to guess and could be used fraudulently online.
